Hi guys, i have some major problems with this notebook, i have bought it on newegg just a week ago and right from the start i experience problems. Ill try and explain them as much to my knowledge. First when i received the laptop i did all windows updates and installed the newest Nvidia Drivers , now if im just browsing the web i keep getting the "NVIDIA drivers has stoped working and now recovered error" then when i try to play games they freeze after about 15 minutes of play time. I have tried few different NVIDIA drivers and still the same problem, i have also removed the realtek drivers and updated the BIOS to the latest version. I have no idea what should i do ? I also bought a Coolermaster cooler for the laptop but that doesnt help. With CPUID Monitor my temps are when playing a game they are around 75C for Graphics card and for the CPU around 55C.
The laptop has the Core i-5 also 4GB DDR3 memory and Nvidia 360M GTS.

Can anyone help me or should i return the laptop back to newegg ?

Try rolling back your graphics driver to the stock driver. If you can't use the roll back tool, use the drivers disk that came with your laptop.

There was no disk with this laptop. What good would that do even if i had old drivers ? The performance in games would take a big hit, i bought this laptop to play games and i cant.

    Telefanatic,

Take a deep breath. Put the panic button away. I realize it's not fun to get a brand new machine and have issues...but....

All David was telling you to do was roll-back the drivers from within the "Device Manager" (found under system properties in your Control Panel). That's a good place to start to try and get your machine stable.

After that, you need to use Driver Sweeper or something of that nature to completely wipe out the old drivers before you install new ones. That will give you the best chance of success (and stability).

The G60JX is known to run hot...to me your temps don't seem out of line....but I'm not an owner of a G60 so I'll defer to them.

Hope you can work things out.

Do a fresh install. Between nvidia and WU, you've probably got some weird conflict. Likely it's not a hardware problem.

I would have to concur, uninstall the drivers, restart, sweep drivers, restart, reinstall latest drivers from Nvidia, do not use windows update drivers.

And your temps look good, mine runs around 86c max when gaming and I'm not worried.
