Some HWMonitor/HWinfo screenshots perhaps please.

Idle, on battery:
I'll be back.
Running stock drivers and vBIOS if that matters. -
I forgot to say, for the idle please do it plugged in on high performance power plan if you can.
-
here's mine.
-
@dark_nerd
CPU not GPU please
Ive already got enough info on GPU temps. -
Done.
Ambient temperature in my room is probably about 15C, lol.
-
@CZX58 Shadow
Thank you very much, could i ask you to run OCCT for a few minutes and post full load temperatures too?
-
my bad. here are mine on idle
-
@dark_nerd
Thanks, whats your ambient temperature btw?
And could you also run OCCT and post full load as well? -
-
Thank you. My max is 66C (64C on core #1) and i idle at 42/40/46/41...
Load seams to be good but i dont know why my idle is so different between cores... Any idea? -
my ambient is 27
-
I think it would definitely help if you posted a screenshot of your system's temps while under heavy load...
Mine again, after 8 minutes of OCCT.
Of course, don't bother with current readings in this. Just the maximum temperatures reached.
You know, I still think that Asus has done some pretty good engineering with this machine to achieve these temps with these parts... -
Ambient really makes a difference here, but it seams we all have pretty much the same temperatures on our CPUs if you take that into account.
-
Agreed. GPU in our laptops is very ambient temp dependent. I think if Asus will change cooling policy for GPU(RPM modes for GPU fan not only 30% and 100%) in future bios releases it will be nice!
-
Does anyone have an explanation why there is such a difference between core temperatures at idle though?
-
I honestly have no idea.The variation, I don't believe, is enough to warrant having to do something about it though. Even my older P8400 has variation in temperature, with the second core generally being two degrees cooler than the first. Hell, even my Q6600 does this.
-
That difference is ok. Don't worry. Window 7 have policy of ideal core. It means if some process being executed on one core Windows will let it finish it instead of switching between the cores.(to increase performance) And don't forget about core parking in Windows 7. That why 1 or 2 cores are hotter. My desktop i5 750 temps differs up to 5-6C from coolest to hottest core when idling. No worries HellCry
-
I have unparked all cores in registry, so thats not it.
-
Then it should be ideal core policy. Anyway you have nothing to worry about.
Post some idle/full load CPU temperatues on G73JH please
