I have a G73. Whenever I put my laptop to sleep, the slightest movement from the mouse would wake it up. Is there a way to prevent the mouse from wake it up or disable the USB so it doesn't response to mouse movements during sleep mode.

    Yes.

Go into Device Manager (Control Panel, System and Security, System, then on the left, select Device Manager).

Expand Mice and Other Pointing Devices in the Device Manager.

Right click on your mouse in Device Manager, and select Properties.

    Select the "Power Management" tab.

Uncheck "Allow this Device to wake the computer".
