I know the only way you can tell the stability of a specific clock speed is actually testing it on prime95, I have mine running at stock clock 2.8ghz and it has been about 8 hours, and I plan on having it run at least until tonight.

but i am just curious, if it runs fine on stock clock will a 3.0ghz makes much of a difference? 3.2? 3.5?

Try 3.0 and see what happens. None of us can know how your CPU will handle those clocks. Its all trial and error on your part now, just run 3.0 for a few hours, if its stable, push it up some more and check for stability again. Also keep an eye on the temps.

i see, when im testing the final (let's say 3.4) how long should i keep that one running?(assuming i push forward every 4-6hours)

also, is it safe to push clock speed while using the prime95?

Also, after 12 hours(20 minutes ago) , my firefox froze up and the computer just got slowed (After im done downloading some big files), but then it returned to normal, not dead screen just got slowed for a while, i think it is with the file that i downloaded since it is pretty big and it automatically runs it right after download is completed, but could it have something to do with my CPU? or is it just prime95 taking up too much cpu usage?
