This is weird, i just bought an SSD but want to test it first. When i take out my secondary drive and put the ssd in, the computer goes up to the windows loading screen in bios and i then get a bluescreen. If i take out the SSD and leave the primary drive in, the computer doesnt even see the primary drive anymore. If i put back the secondary drive, i can boot back normally.
Any suggestions?

Windows loading screen isn't in the bios, the bios has handed off control to the mbr on the disk at that point.
There are a couple of possibilities, without knowing exactly how you have it set up it's hard to tell. If you try hitting ESC at bootup and point it to the system drive, do you have the same problem?

You probably need to check your bios settings AFTER installing the ssd/hdd's. Boot the lappy after installing and when it is at post, mash DEL, then go to boot and configure your drives and their boot order there.
