Anyone else having trouble with the USB port on your left on the front? Whenever I plug my phone into it my PC would fail installing drivers always. When I plug my phone into one of the other USB ports, everything works and I can access the microSD card inside. When I plug my wireless mouse receiver into the front left USB port, it doesn't work. When I replug it into one of the USB ports on the right side, my wireless mouse works again. Is my front left USB port broken? It's not that big of a deal, I'll just buy a USB hub and use the working ports on the right side.

could be a bad port board for that port, or could just be a poorly connected cable for it internally...

My ethernet port wasn't working on my G73JH either, so I had to open it up and press the connections on tight and it works just fine.

I am wondering what real kind of QC Asus has on these units... lots of little problems and issues that a large company like Asus shouldn't really have...

I don't think that port is powered I can only run my thumb drive on it. I tired my phone and portable HDD which needs USB power and doesn't work on that.

I use the Left Back USB port by the ethernet cause I hate that the USBs on the right get in my way.

But I think mine is powered since my phone is charging when I plug the phone in it. It seems that ASUS has QC problem guys...
