    Hi all.
I have a small problem that I want to comment.
I have a G73SW just 2 days ago and I noticed that there has appeared a small white spots on the screen that seem dead pixels. This afternoon, another spot appeared identical but slightly smaller.
Just can see with angles, not in front
Anyone know what can be and could be due?

    (it´s a ChiMei pannel)

It looks like a pressure spot. Did anyone touch your screen with their pen, finger nail or something like that?

No one has touched the laptop apart from me, and I am extremely careful...
In addition to pressing the stain is observed is somewhat deeper (a few millimeters deep)
Maybe it's something about the backlight?

I had the same issue, albeit not nearly as noticeable. I RMA'd for it, amongst other issues.

With something like that you would want to RMA it. Have you contacted your reseller to inquire about the process? It does look like a pressure spot based on that image, but it's hard to tell without actually looking at the unit.

I removed the panel and I've looked through the area behind and nothing is observed.
Perhaps the white point matching plastic rails that are in the inner zone of the cover, but even with the separate panel 3cm the white point does not disappear, so I guess there is no solution.
