    Been looking at old post but cannot seem to find the right thread.

    The problem. My G73JH finally up and shutdown on my gf in the middle of a report. Boots but no post. Screen is black and only the 3 buttons light up ....not even the keyboard. It runs for 1 min and then the fans turn up 100%. Sounds like the VGA ? well here is the funny part. Swapping the card into a nother computer it posts no problem. The JH does not post even with the 5870m :( i had been running fine with the 6990m.

    Motherboard died on me ? I did all the normal test HDD reset, Ram, battery remover (even the mobo battery). HDMI does not work nor the VGA port. VGA stays cool.
    Having one ram in the notebook work like it should....it boots for a sec and then restart.

    Keyboard is off as the num lock, caps do not work. The caps lock and numlock however do light up for a sec but not the keyboard.

    When my first 6790 died it at least got hot but at the moment the GPU does not even get power (at least it seems like it does not).
