Hey all,
Im relatively new to the world of g73s (got a refurbished one and had it brought to india) and ive done my fair share of homework but i just can find any topic on this issue..
The heat coming from the middle of the keyboard is more that from the vents and the back! I know thats where the GPU is but still .. Im a bit worried about it.. There is no performance issues or anything like that but i cant even hear the fans!
Im running the latest bios and all that and i dont know if its even a issue so any help would be appreciated..
And last thing , what programmes do u use to keep track of gpu temps?

Heat comes out the keyboard? lolwut. My keyboard has never even been warm, that's strange.
-
My keys are slightly warm around the K key area, but nothing abnormal about it. It sounds like in your case it's warmer than that. Are the fans running at all?

didnt expect such a fast reply
my fans and running but its barely warm and after a proper gaming session the area around the K key is not hot but warmer than the vent . -
Same here. Isn't the chipset package right under there....the one with the thermal pad on it that heat sinks into the chassis (I never looked under the pad to see what the chip was lol)?
@ashwant:
Try HWiNFO32 -
Chances are that the ambient temps (even 2-3 degrees higher) make heat dissipation really difficult. That WILL get a little toasty (read the notebookcheck.net review of the g73jh), but it shouldn't get too hot. As MarkS said, use a monitoring program to check the temps of your components.
Proper heat ventillation??
