So, is it worth it? I am thinking of purchasing a G73jh from newegg.ca and I can't decide if the extra year of extended warranty ($70) through Service Net is worth it. How many of you guys opted for an extra year (or two) over and above the 2-year mfg. warranty? Did anyone purchase an extended warranty after the fact? Doesn't have to be from newegg either.

I do like the Asus warranty, but I can't purchase the extended warranty directly through them as I could with my old Acer - $99 for one year, I liked that. That leaves me with a third-party provider which is obviously not ideal. I suppose I wouldn't be fretting over this decision as much if it were a cheaper laptop.

    Thanks
