    QX9300 Work in a G60Vx?

    I am curious to see if anybody has this processor, or know if it will work in a G60Vx? Where I am looking it says it will only work in certain 45 chip sets, so I'm not sure, and they are not cheap to buy so if it doesn't work i would like to know beforehand so that I can get a x9100 instead.     Get a T9900 it uses less power but runs at the same spec and speed as the X9100.

    Actually they don't have the same specs. There is a chart somewhere on notebook review that has the processors listed in order of performance, and they are slightly different. Now the difference may be unnoticeable, but a difference non the less.

    All in all, I would probably go for whichever I can find cheaper, I found a x9100 for 250, so I may go for it unless somebody else has one laying around on this forum for less.
