I just ran across this while monitoring temps on my computer, My memory clocks are 667 Mhz, Is this normal?, I thought the max speed was 1333 Mhz. If I'm correct what could be causing lower memory clocks... any ideas?

    Yes.. DDR2 doubles the clock speeds, so 667 x 2 = 1333

So I guess technology from DDR2 and onwards double the clockspeed (as for now)

DDR3 we use is still dual channel, so it's still 667X2.

Triple channel memory is only supported by the Intel X58 Chipset. While i7 has a memory controller, you still need a X58 equipped motherboard for triple channel memory. You also have install in 3s. None of the mobile intel chipsets support triple channel.
