Hey All,
Kinda have a "stoopid noob" question.
I bought and ordered a spare keyboard in case I ruined the one in my machine, expecting to repaste my GPU by myself.
However, I went ahead and had an ASP do it, and while my new temps are great, the keyboard is mushy, uneven and missing strokes.
So, my question is:
If I want to replace this myself, do I need to go through all the back panel dis-assembly steps on the BTO video leading up to the removal of the keyboard?
Or can I just pop it out from the front, disconnect the cables and vice versa with the replacement?
Thanks for the help!
Cheers!

The only thing that you need to remove to replace the keyboard is . . . the keyboard!

Very easy, pop the 5 tabs, unlatch the 2 ribbon locks (top and bottom, the one on the right is one piece but it is best to push both sides), then pull out the ribbons. Put the ribbons back in, lock the tabs, push the keyboard on. DONE. Detailed pictures on my signature.

You forgot to mention the wrestling match with the uber 2-way tape.
