    Why don't they sell these with the 7970m in them?

    From Asus' perspective AMD cards were a failure in the JH and they moved back to nVidia. The JH was a very popular laptop, but it had it's fair share of problems and Asus got cold feet about AMD since then.

    JH? See I would just get one with a 670/675 but i feel like they are below the 7970 by a pretty good margin. (edit: plus, they're still on 45nm as compared to the 7970)

    Oh right, it's become second nature to call the G73JH the JH, sorry about that. As of now Asus has nothing truly high end to offer, the Gx5 series is still decent, but not top of the line like the JH was back in 2010 despite the problems it had.
