just getting my g73jh from best buy and it doesnt include any system discs? Does the HDD have a partition? and would I just boot up and hit a certain F key and itll let me? or do I have to download the disc from somewhere?

and also, I read a topic about downloading some stuff, im really not looking forward to downloading multiple things, burning them and setting up bios etc..

my old asus seemed to be pretty hassle free? i know this isnt aot of work but with seeming to be driver problems with audio, and keypad missing strokes and no windows discs. im hoping the HDD has partition of some sort?

Not sure what you are asking but yes, my JW came with OS partition and DATA.
Since it's a JH you probably will have to update bios to stop GSOD. Just follow the stickies instructions and you will be fine.

Well I'm mainly wanting to reinstall Windows and wasn't sure how to reformat computer with out discs and stuff . Was wanting a clean install. But seems only way is for me to download the discs. I don't care if I have the asus "bloat" the only problem I was having was my audio. If I was on a video chat. I'd open up the creative software and the Mic record level would constantly rise and the other person would hear an echo. Id try deleting it but that didn't help
