I was reading an online forum and some dude said a game absolutely refused to run because it said the video card's drivers were outdated and they had to download new ones.

I was just wondering if anyone knew of this happening with laptops as well, seeing as the cards are a bit different? I have a G73, but unless absolutely necessary (not comfortable flashing BIOS or anything) I'd like to just stick with these stock drivers.

Easy. Play a game with upgraded drivers. (Mainly for improved performance in later games)

If you GSOD, its compulsory to flash BIOS + vBios.

If you don't GSOD, you're gold.

    Tada.
