1.Does it run hot to the touch when you use latest games or is the cooling as good as they advertise?
2.Is it true that it has a loud fan noise when gaming?
3.If you have ther G53SX that came with 3D glasses then have you been able to update it and use the naked eye 3d feature that Asus has been talking about for a while? If yes, how well does it work?

4.Have you had any issues with your laptop since you bought it? (Please mention how long you had it for)
5.Have you ever regretted buying your G53SX? Yes, No, Why?

I want to hear from everyone who owns or owned a G53SX laptop with a 3D Screen and NO ONE ELSE, and thanks for understanding :)

You probably wont get any replies as Asus never released a 3D G53SX model. While they did show a naked eye 3D at trade shows and even listed it on their site as so it never made it to market. There also weren't any with glasses either. The only 3D it can do is output to an external 3D TV/Monitor.

Sorry if i broke your request for only owners of the 3D model and no one else to reply :)

I know, that's why i am a bit hesitant to buy it,plus i have never owned an Asus ROG before, so i am between it and an Alienware laptop... but the specs on the Asus were super nice

    G53SX 3D (15.6")
    3D Screen
    I7 2670 2.20 up to 3.10 turbo boos, 6MB cache
    1.5 TB
    12 GB Ram
    Geforce GTX 560M 2GB
DVD player (no Bluray option available  )

It would cost around 1,591 USD over here.

And no, to answer your question I dont live in the states, live on lil island called Bahrain, close to Asia I guess maybe that's why this model is available here :)

no,,, never buy that thing !!!
why ??? because it has 2 GB 560M means 128 bit and you can not play any 3D game for sure,,,
    you should find 1.5 GB / 3.0 GB 560M " 192 bit "or 1.5 GB 460M " 192 bit "but keep away from 2GB 560M for sure

What do you mean i wouldn't be able to play any 3D games? do you mean I wouldn't be able to play them in stereoscopic 3d? cuz that would be weird, why would Asus put that card in a laptop with 3d vision installed?

GTX560M 128 bit's bandwidth is so small which will only give you 40GB/s while the GTX560M 192 bit can give you 60GB/s. Meaning that you might not experience smooth game play on the G53SX in 3D mode, 3D mode means rendering the same image twice, so basically you are only getting half of the FPS vs the non-3D games. GTX560M 192bit isn't strong, and the GTX560M in the G53SX is the gimped version which can only do 128bit.
