My laptop is an ASUS g73jw.

I have a 720p connected via HDMI and I was wondering if there is any way to have to 480m display 1920x1080 on the laptop LCD while also displaying 1280x720 on the monitor? Any help would be appreciated.

PS. Anyone else notice the touch pad on the g73 isn't as sharp as it could be? Thanks.

480m?? sure it's not 460m? Anyways, you can do it through the nVidia control panel, not sure you can do it if you clone the desktop to both monitors but if you use the TV to extend your desktop, then it can be done. Make sure your TV is recognized as an HDTV as you might need to adjust the resolution to a custom size to fit your TV perfectly. I don't remember the exact steps, but if i could do it on my N50 (9650M), i'm sure you can do it with your G73.

EDIT: I remember i got it working with the TV as the main display and laptop as secondary. I can't remember if i managed to get it working the other way around.

    Yeah 460m, sorry, fat finger.

I think I got it working via Windows Media Player Classic using the full screen resolution overrides.....

One more thing: I have owned a lot of laptops, and this by FAR is my favorite!
