Rückenmark´s FancyStart - Pack

First i thought that i dont need this because its a bit playful

But than i had a cool idea and now i share it with you, because it was a success for me

I hope you like the content and give me some feedback,...here is what i have done:

Asus FancyStart is a tool from Asus to replace the Bios boot screen and sound.
In the Bios you can enable the function and set some options, like the volume or animation.
In Windows you have to install FancyStart to choose the picture and audio files that you would like to see while booting.

In my package you will find the latest version of the FancyStart tool from Asus and some pictures with Asus / ROG logos and a sound file, witch you can use with the tool.
The picture- and audio quallity is maxed out and should not be changed (if you want to use your own files you need a 1024x768 jpeg and a wav).
Just start FancyStart (after the installation you can delete the link from the autostart folder) and select the files from the "Bootfiles" folder from my pack.
Restart and see

BTW i included some nice Wallpapers in high resolution as Windows background for you too , you will find them in the "Wallpapers" folder.

And again i hope you have fun and post some feedback here (would be great if somebody could make a startup videoclip for us as example)^^

I heard about temporary bricking with this running and some user had to remove their hard-drive to get it to boot normally.

 

everything works good for me, no problems
its just:

first i had a supercharged v8 camaro SS as sound but it was a bit hilarious^^

 

My first RMA was a direct result of enabling FancyStart, super-Bricked, as in resetting the CMOS, removing the HDDS, did nothing

Not to steal any thunder way from Ruckenmark, but I would recommend anyone willing to try this, that any mod to the POST screen, even when using a program made by the same company that made the laptop, is still risky. (at least from my experience)

On another note lol Ruckenmark can you make like a youtube video of it in action?

 

blame on me i dont have a cam.... ok a mobilephone but i think its a 3 megapixel cam

Feel really sad for you. That shouldn't have happened. I've used fancystart a few times and worked perfectly for me. I still however don't suggest anyone use fancystart as it slows down your boot time by quite a bit.

 

hehe i have tested exactly this before you posted you comment^^ and yes i have said some thing about this in the little video. i think it changes when you take long and big files.

Please make more video's in english! I understood everything you had to say! And you talk more clearly than most American people do .

hey is there anyway to change the sound when i turn the laptop on but without the fancy start
i really don't want to install that program only for the sound
i like yours maximum game

 

sure you dont need the picture.

just install the tool and replace only the sound file.

the installation is slim and i havnt tested it yet but after you changed the picture/sound you should be able to uninstall without losing the new files.

 

but after that can i uninstall the program
and the sound will be there or i need to keep the program
well i don't like the picture becouse it is only 1 second

 

jep, i think you dont need the program after the changes. but i dont know it really.

and the picture is just a thing that you should try out, maybee you like it
