Well, my computer went bad 11 days ago, 10 days since my first e-mail requesting a RMA approval. Finally Asus replied to me, I got in touch with them over the phone and got my RMA setup. I'll be sending the Laptop tomorrow from Mexico City to Freemont CA.
I'm gonna keep posting to inform all of you how things go, I know there are many of you who like me live abroad and there are not service centers in your countries.
I just hope I don't get into what others have called Asus Support Limbo and my laptop gets fixed in an appropriate time and manner.
BTW, Thanks to Gary Keys for pushing things up, I might still be waiting if it wasn't for him)

When i twice rmad my g1s it sat twice in the Indiana facility for 3 weeks before they even "checked" it in and started repairs/replacement procedures. Good luck! lol

Well my laptop finally made it to Freemont. After all this holidays and all the fuss is actually there.
Waiting on Asus to update the status on it. -
Good luck with your update status changing. I would recommend you speak with either Trinity Sparks or Mason Winner to ensure that whatever is needed is done correctly.

Woohaa the laptop is in his way back home... Only stayed three days at Asus...
Supposedly will make it back to me tomorrow, Gotta tell you I will be really impressed if it makes it and all the repairs went good. -
I hope it works! Nobody deserves to go through an RMA!
Best of Luck

It should be good work based on the location it was sent.

The laptop is back, I gotta say I'm impressed it made it so fast. It would have taken less days if it wasn't for the holidays.
The service was quite fast less for the part I had to get Gary Keys Involved to get it moving. So far the laptop seems to be working fine, I'm still loading drivers and programs since well They had to do a full system restore, but so far all I got to say Asus Support did much better than I expected.
RMA my G73JH... Lets ee how Asus Support do with customers outside the States...
