So I'm a day behind on getting my laptop out to Asus. My Dad and I were looking at shipping options since Asus won't pay for the shipping (because I have the BB model). My Dad appears to be set on USPS and he also wants to tack on a requirement for a signature when it's delivered (It's like a $2.00 charge). I was wondering, will this cause a problem? I wouldn't think so, but ya' never know.

I wouldn't recommend the USPS it will probably get lost in oblivion. UPS with insurance of $1300 is like 20 bucks how much are you paying total for USPS?

FedEx, USPS, and UPS were all about the same, in the $50's.
If the laptop is covered under insurance and is lost in transit, then I get my $1200 back. My dad is in the shipping buisness and I'm sure if there was a high risk then he wouldn't use them (he would use his company, but they only do air freight and shipping in Florida).
As far as having a signature request is concerned though, will there be problems on the receiving end?
