    Hello there,

On my Asus GM501GS-XS74, ROG Aura Core turns off the keyboard backlight and the Aero Light as soon as its' unplugged from power.

Is this intentional, or can it be disabled by the user?

I think its intentional. At default balanced mode, lights don't go off. In power saver mode the lights go off. You can find it in power options

    Found it:

In an elevated (admin) command prompt, run:

    powercfg -attributes 4faab71a-92e5-4726-b531-224559672d19 -ATTRIB_HIDE

And to restore the hidden attribute:

    powercfg -attributes 4faab71a-92e5-4726-b531-224559672d19 +ATTRIB_HIDE

You're right, toggling the option (as you've shown) ensures that the lights stay on even in battery mode.

    Many thanks, my friend.
