http://asusrog.com Is Down -> Check if your website is up or down?
Looks like it's got a bad route. Give it some time. Here's the end of the traceroute output:

I can get to rog.asus.com fine, asusrog.com is down, and I think that's where the forum was hosted. I could be wrong, I don't spend a ton of time over there...
If it's not back soonish, just wait for Chastity (ASUS ROG forum mod) to see your thread.
Edit: It's still down, maybe they just unplugged the server lol -
Forum still gone....2 days now....
-
Did they give any notice or something before it went down?
-
Its back now as Welcome to Republic Of Gamers! not asusrog as it used to be....and the FORUMs are gone...
-
I kicked an email at the admin, let's see what he says
-
It's been a few days I can't access to the asusrog site www.asusrog.com
Am I the only one (I live abroad)?
Is there a mirror site of Chastity driver & reference page @asusrog? -
The server is down due to maintenance today, and is currently being worked on.
-
What's all the worry for? Does anyone actualy uses Asus's ROG forum? We've got a few reps here and probably more Asus users here than there. Anyways i can't access too. Bad Gateway error.
-
It appears that many are using the G73 area... Problems & errors...
Pretty Sad when a Computer Manufacture's Forum is down...
What does that say about their Computers...? -
Its your typical, bog-standard, barebones, average, run-of-the-mill, unexceptional utterly normal forum service/maintenance down time. Probably upgrading the forum software to improve security for you the end-user. Or switching servers that can handle a larger load.
I wouldn't read too much into it if I were you. -
asusrog.com is back up
-
It's back now
-
Well that's good. I always will use Notebookreview
-
Like the subject says , is the forum down? I can't seem to get to it....

I merged this into an existing thread, they were down recently for upgrades or summat. Probably the same thing now? I'm getting a 404 so the server is up at least.
-
Thanks, sorry I did not see the thread....

No problem it was more than a few pages back - that's what I'm here for.
I'd say again give it a day or a few hours at least, before allowing panic to creep in.
-
Well, it wasn't working for me yesterday either and still not working now :S.

Last time I think it was down for 2 or 3 days.
-
Yeah wasn't working for me yesterday and the day before that it would work sometimes. I wish Chastity had the driver reference thread on NBR.
-
The rog forum is still down today. Anyone know when it'll be back up?
-
I just hope it will be back up before the Notebook forum on Asus's site
ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Forum-
I heard there were so many posts their 20 TB sever hard drive filled up... -
It's down because the Admin was on vacation all this week. Yeah, I know...
-
hi Chastity,
Maybe you should mirror/replicate your Driver and Application Reference page in ROG to another web site. Maybe a sticky page on this forum....... -
The reason I do not maintain a copy here is because NBR has a Forum Rule stating that if there is a source to link to, and there is a NBR local copy and an external site copy, NBR requires I ONLY list the NBR links. When I first started, I had 2 copies, and the mods here kept editing my posts removing links to asusrog.com and replacing them with NBR links, plus editing my descriptions. Needless to say, that drove my nutsy. By keeping it on the other site, I maintain greater creative control, and only have to update info once.
If anything I'll maintain a local mirror on my personal server, if the need arises. -
Meh, just posted exactly the same in other thread before read here. Yeah, the NBR forum rules aren't permissive and the moderators a little intrusive.
-
I'd really appreciate it cause the rog forum is quite unreliable. I wanted to reinstall my g73 a few days ago but because the forum isn't working i'm stuck.
-
Well, you can get most of the drivers/utilities from Asus's website. I guess the only real problems could be touchpad, audio and latest azureware ones (Atheros has absolutely no driver support). You could run the basic windows drivers for the devices you don't have but at least you will be able to get bluetooth, camera, chipset etc running.
Still, a mirror would be appreciated since the RoG forums seem to be down quite often lately. -
When the page pops up again, I'll recreate it on my local server. I have this nice webhost, and nothing on the server.
-
yeah i miss that ref page by chastity

The rule is actually that you cannot link to your own website (or one you are affiliated with). While it may cause inconvenience, it's to prevent linkspam to blogs, keyword sites, etc. This rule applies across the board, just like all the other forum rules. You are welcome to mirror your content here - that's not an issue. If you have any questions about this feel free to PM me or any other moderator. -
Our prayers have been answered. Thanks to whoever fixed it!
-
Chastity, If you do get a chance to do this please post a link. It will be greatly appreciated by many. Thanks
-
Its been back since like 2 weeks now....
-
If she mirrors it in a thread here can you make it a sticky. It's like a one stop shop for the latest drivers that a lot of people would have a hard time finding on their own.
-
It fell off the map again a few days ago, but apparently it's up & running
-
I plan on making an actual http page as opposed to a sticky.
-
It's down again. Super annoying because your driver and application reference page is such a good resource and I can't access it!
EDIT: No, it's just loading incredibly slow... I might just save a local copy of the page for now, since the links should still all work either way. -
Thanks Chastity, I can't wait to pin your site to the taskbar when it's available.
-
ok, I lol'd
-
I'm glad you got a kick out of that. I had to edit myself because it sounded kinky originally. Unintentionally.
-
Why are there connectivity issues so often with asusrog?
-
I know why, but I'm not allowed to tell. It involves monkeys.
-
asusrog gone again!
-
Are they possibly, in the process of bringing the forum over here--> Welcome to Republic Of Gamers!??
-->Answering my own question; Brian_****@asus told me, "It is the same company but 2 different sites. Rog.asus represents our global team. Asusrog is focused for north America but also reaching out to other regions. The forums will be back up by end of the week. We were moving servers due to some bugs and are rebuilding the server as we speak. The main asusrog is already back online. just not the forums." -
hey hey!
i know this is absolutely NOT the right playce for this question. anyhow, anybody knows why the asus rog g73 forum is down and when it will be online again? or has is just been moved?
sry i know, wrong forum for this question...stil, anyone knows???
