Hi, I don't know if anyone before here experienced it before or not, but I have the TZ008 model or idk what, don't want to check it, so anyway, anyone ever before experienced anything such as random freezes on startup and system stop after startup made by the CCC? As like if you start up your PC, then it goes into the login screen, and then everything loads and freezes, nothing moves, and have to force shutdown.

This is very annoying because I must re-install W7 on my G73 because of this, and I'm too afraid to use any new CCC driver because it would happen, but if there is already a fix for this, someone tell me please.

    Thanks!

that hotfix maybe won't help you
    it didn't helped me
search the solution in creative software and realtek drivers
i had to format my computer becouse of these lockups
now i am without CREATIVE only with Realtek 2.53 and i don't have a single lockup
but i lost the quality of the sound, lower sound and no bass option

just trying to help cause most of the people including me are complaining from creative
    i would try this
uninstall creative and realtek and search manually in registry every key including creative and realtek and delete it
after that try to install only realtek latest version
if no succes ..... reinstall windows or recovery

i am going to try for the last time creative since some reported that they have it working with CMSS 3d and bass boost enabled

    1) If using only the realtek drivers, you can use the EQ to boost bass levels.

    2) If you want to use Creative, I suggest you use this: http://pcaudio.org/stuff/SB_XFiMB_Win7VistaXP_1_1.exe

It's an updated X-Fi MB package that uses updated libraries to have better Win 7 compatibility. Mind you it's a trial package.
