71 degrees is a very nice temp. 60 seconds isn't very long, I'm sure it will go higher if you give it a couple more minutes.

Offhand, and not being an expert, I would say this tells you that your GPU is in fine shape.

Furmark is used to stress your Gpu. We use it here to max out the heat output to test our cooling systems. Many G73s have trouble coolin so that is why we use furmark, to evaluate cooling performance. You need to run for at least 5 minutes, preferably 10. I don't hit max temps until 3-5 minutes in. 60 seconds doesn't tell you much other than that your computer doesn't crash from 60 seconds. Run for ten minutes and run post back here and that will be a more accurate gauge of your temperatures. Be sure you are plugged in to ac power and your clock speeds say 700/1000 and you'll know the test is good. For a stock G73Jh anything between 90c-100c seems to be average. Over 100c will need to be repasted for sure. Anything under 90c on stock paste is pretty good (according to Asus). Repasted laptops regularly get down to <80c. Mine 83c, but I live in Las Vegas, were is it very hot. I'm going to run a test on a cold day and see how that affects things.
