I have a G51jx and I went to get my keyboard replaced today at ASUS. But now the keyboard is making noise and is flexing on the left side entirely when I type. This never happened on the stock keyboard. Did they forget to screw something in?? Normally the keyboard flex is at the top but here it feels like im pressing the keyboard in every time i hit a key on the left side. It makes rattling noises.

I don't know the disassembly of the keyboard otherwise I would check. This is annoying as hell.

Tell me about it. I've RMA'd three times for warped/loose keyboards. I don't know if the G51 keyboard is the same as the one on the G73, but keyboard quality isn't Asus' strongpoint.

If you're afraid of fixing it yourself, I'd recommend bringing it in again and being very specific in the problem. If possible, try the keyboard out before you leave. I don't think there's any other way of fixing the flex, other than buying a replacement yourself - believe me, I've tried.
