I haven't seen this yet in Chastity's Driver update page or anywhere else on here. I noticed that Realtek has their 2.57 out, I am currently in the process of downloading and looking for the changelog.

Thanks for the heads up rschauby, +1 REP!
I took the plunge. I was on stock drivers AFA creative and realtek. I downloaded from 3dguru this:
    Realtek_R257-[Guru3D.com].exe
then booted to safe mode and ran the program. It removed the old driver and prompted reboot. I booted into normal mode and the install autoran. Another boot, and sound still worked but creative Audio center errored out and would not open. I reinstalled Creative suite from the factory recovery DVD
    D:\ASUS W7 Factory Recovery\DRIVER_CD_WIN7_10\Software\Creative\Creative\Vista32_Vista64_Win7_32_Win7_64_1.0
Another reboot and all is good. Before I did this I had the steam lockup and ease of access issues when bass boost was on, THAT is not longer the case. Ease of access center works fine as well as steam.
