This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Reassign the "multimedia playback keys"?

    I just got my G73J the other day, pretty happy with it. Except the fact that the playback keys only pull up Windows Media Center... which is garbage.

    Any way I can rebind them so they work like normal Playback keys? I've been looking through the Apps that ASUS supplies and cant find anything as of yet.

    I am also in a clean install of Windows 7 64bit, if that helps.

    AsusNBKeys work well for reassigning the media keys.

    Do a search on the forum.

    Here is one thread I found regarding the AsusNBKeys - It would seem that there are some issues with the newer ATK drivers/software - So make sure you read through the entire post to find out the solutions -
