    Hey

I managed to snag a second G73JH that the previous owner had problem booting. It did not post. I tested the GPU in my old system and it works so the mobo is to blame. Now im about to order a new mobo but have a question. I know there is no dif in the brown and green board. Also i have to have a board that has the same bios as the GPU if not a blind flash is needed. But is there a dif in the board code ? The mobo that is dead is 60-NY8MB1200-B0C. I found one with the same code for sale and a cheaper on that is 60-NY8MB1200-B0D. Is the last part like a date when it was made or does it refer to a mobo that had something reworked ?

I hoped that the mobo had the same problem as i had with my first G73JH but the trick i used did not work as the mobo did not even boot with the 6970M.

Sounds like a revision update, in which case B0D would be newer.

Hmm well there is a B09 and a B01 aswell. So it should be like B0C was shipped with 206 bios as mine came with that ?

Bouth of the G73JH that i have are B0C. I should be able to flash it to 213 even if the new mobo should turn out to be 209 or even lower and the GPU with the dead mobo is 213.
I recall hearing or reading in a thread that 213 bios GPU did not boot on a 209 or lower bios mobo.
