    Hey guys,
I'm new to this awesome forum and decided to start off with a minor issue. I ordered the ASUS G73JH recently from XoticPC and am waiting for it to arrive but I did not opt to buy the Recovery Disks. Could anyone please describe what exactly they're used for and how important they are? If important, how do I make sure I burn a similar DVD as soon as I get the laptop so I can avoid future issues. Thanks in advance!

The Recovery Utility on the stock installation will allow you to make the 6 DVD discs for recovery. These will allow you to return the laptop to its original factory installation.

Personally, I prefer to install Windows 7 from scratch.

Oh ok I think I'd prefer to install Windows 7 from scratch too. Thanks!
