    Red lines on G53SW screen?

    My G53SW-A1 gained random red/pink lines after a few hours of Old Republic today. I bought this laptop from Amazon in October, and this is the first time these lines appeared and won't go away. I've plugged it into a HDTV via HDMI and the red lines didn't appear on the TV. I'm guessing my only option is to send this in to Asus?

    The line has gotten a lot longer since the picture was taken.

    Hi, this is happening to my G53SW-A1 now (the second one)... I am in Brazil for the next year or so, please, any advice?

    Also bought through Amazon in October 2011.

    Thanks for the reply. Where can I find the serial number? I checked under the laptop and found a sticker with the barcode and found something that's 15 numbers long and starts with B###... Would that be it?

    Also, what info do I need to PM you with?
