    Hey everyone!

So all this talk about repasting the CPU has me thinking.

If your going to have the thing taken apart that much anyway, is it worth it to give the CPU a cleaning and shot of IC7 as well?

    Is it worth it?

You'll have to remove the "Void if broken" warranty sticker. Personnally I wouldn't do this if my warranty was still active just incase I needed the warranty. Also, CPU temps are not really an issue for the G73, so why bother (unless you are having trouble ofcourse).

If your warranty is expired and you want to do it, then there is no real harm in doing so, especially if you are repasting the GPU and have laptop apart anyway.

Only do it if your CPU temps are a little too hot for comfort.
