If some resellers offer it wouldn't that fix the only major issue with this laptop? Bringing them down by at least 10C and then with a little undervoltage bringing both the CPU and GPU in the 70s even under heavy load.

Wouldn't that make it the perfect laptop?

The load you are talking about is under non-realworld applications. No app I know of loads both cpu and gpu 100% simultaneously.

As for repasting? 10c drop is pretty optimistic. There's a likelihood you'd get no drop, or insignificant drop in temps. Or maybe even screw it up and have a few C higher. I've seen all 3 cases with my G501VW.

I know I saw that HardOCP article about delidding and replacing the paste, but mobile cpu's do not have a lid. So I doubt any significant improvement could be made. see pic below.

The main issue is that the fans are capped at less than 5000rpm. The 502VM I tested would only spin at 4700rpm max under max load.
In contrast, MSI laptops can ramp up to 6000rpm.
If Asus would allow for the fans to spin faster, that would exhaust the hot air faster.

Right, usually just re-pasting the basic stock thermal compound with a better one should get a few degrees temperature difference, maybe more. It just depends a little bit on what you are using to re-paste with as there are some differences between compounds.
