    Repeated Asus Update

    I noticed recently that the Asus update keeps popping up. Does my G73 really need updating that often? Is it a glitch?

    Mine always just showed it was downloading 1 thing and never really did it. I uninstalled it completely.

    I do believe it actually went thru and completed once. Seems now though that the first thing gets stuck on updating and really doesn't do anything.
    And when I actually click on Asus Update, nothing happens.

    Rubbish bit of software, never even updated once on my G73. I unistalled it.

    NEver use it, never worked, EVER. Even when they updated it, it still never worked. HAs it worked for anyone??

    It actually updated my video card ONCE before I did the clean install. The others updates failed. Remove it. =)
