Im sure i can find this info somewhere but i rather ask here cause you have always been helpfull.

Got a new G73S to replace my G73J that broke.
I want to put a SSD into it, will it void the warranty?
If so, considering my last experience, i will skip it.

    no, it wont at all.
Asus only cares if the cpu heatsink is removed ,only at that time your warranty gets void until that you can part out the laptop.
so hdd upgrade wont harm your warranty at all . :D

That is correct, it will not harm warranty. But, you just want to be careful when doing so.

Also be sure to remove the SSD before service IF you ever have to send it in.

Sometimes ASUS will issue a replacement unit. They will not replace your drive

You know you have two hard drive bays? If you have a single hard drive, you won't have to replace anything.
