This is the fourth notebook I've ever disassembled, and the biggest PITA I've ever had. I took it apart, carefully, following the directions in the BTOTech video. I replaced the thermal paste on the GPU, reassembled, and pressed the power button. Nothing. Not a single thing happened. When I plugged it in? Nothing. There's no lights, no sound, the fans aren't spinning. This thing is about as useful as a brick.

So what the heck did I forget to plug back in? I fully disassembled and reassembled it a second time, taking extra care to look for any cables I missed. There were none. (That I saw, anyway)

    Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

one of your wireless card antenna wires is probably stuck over your reset button. get a paperclip and stick it in the reset hole, if it doesn.t click down then that button is being held down by that wire.

It happened to me the first time I took mine apart as well. I think the layout of those wires makes this a pretty common thing when taking apart this notebook because the wires are pretty long and get bunched up a bit around that reset button making it easy for it to lay right across that button when closing it back up. It's happened a few times to me already.
