Not sure if this is the proper place for this or not. Did a search and couldn't find anything, so...
When I first got my G73, I did a clean Windows install and removed all the bloatware as detailed in this forum by several very helpful members whose names escape me at the moment.
I'm now noticing that there's no clearly visible way to use the webcam to record videos, which I'd like to do for a school project.
Is there any recommended webcam software on the market that does this nicely? Free would be nice, but if it's really worth the bang, I'll provide the buck. Or would I be better off installing the software from the Driver disc (wherever I put that... haha), and if that's the case, which applications/drivers do I need to install?

Bump.
Even an indication of what software I just need to install from ASUS's page would be helpful. -
INstall the drivers acording if your webcam is 1.3 or 2.0mp and later install LifeFrame, which is actually a "fancy software from asus" which allow you to record videos and add effects. It's like Photo Booth from apple. If your drivers are corrected installed, you can use your webcam with gtalk for instance.
Grab the soft from the drivers dvd or from asus website.
