I'm looking into replacing the wireless card in my G73 with the intel 6200. Is it as easy as taking the old one out and swapping? Thank's

Yes, just use reasonable care disconnecting the antennas and it's a very simple procedure. Once installed you can install the Intel software.

Yeah its a few minutes to do the whole thing...

Take off the bottom panel (2 screws) and the wireless card is right there ...

    Total no brainer

Thanks for the quick responses. Does it void warranty? And software from intel? just an executable?

You go to the Intel website and goto consumer support or something and get the wireless drivers or just google them.

You can also download the latest intel 6200 drivers from station-drivers.
It is strange but they usually have more up to date drivers than on intel website.
It seems sometimes intel is not updating their website when they release a new driver to their OEM partners.

Here is the link to the driver page:
intel drivers pour chipsets Reseaux (Lan) & Wifi (Wireless)
