Anyone have any experience replacing a screen on this laptop? Im not even sure how to get into this part of it. Does the keyboard need to come off? Also if anyone knows what the part number is for the screen and has a cheap site to order it, it would be much apreciated. I hit a guard rail in my car and the laptop hit hard enough to crack the internal led screen but no external dmg to the screen was done. I'd love to replace it with a g72gx-a1 screen to do 1920x1080 but im not sure if thats possible. I guess its always best to stick with an orginal part.

    Thx again guys and gals.

    screencountry carries the lg screen.

theres a full pictured write up of a g73 replacement in the tech and hardware section of this forum.

    100$

I have heard that the auo fhd screen is the best one though. The part number is in that same listing.

You wouldn't happen to have a link laying around would you? How close is the g72gx compared with the g73gx? Arn't they 2 different cases?
