Can someone fill me in on how to reset the bios? When I first got the laptop, it had a cool logo when I powered it on. Eventually I did something to remove that and I saw the bios post boot messages. Now I see nothing but a blank screen until Windows 7 starts. I want to know how to get both back. ;)

    Cheers

power on computer, hit F2 repeatedly to enter Bios, advance tab- is asus fancy start enabled or disabled?
When you say restting BIOS do you mean flashing (updating) or changing settings within the BIOS?
Also Once you are in win 7 do you have ASUS fancy start utility installed?

I do not recommend using the utility in windows or enabling fancy start in BIOS btw.

another thing to check from windows is bring up run - msconfig - boot tab - boot options -
    IS no GUI boot checked?
