Looks like an awesome cooler

The cooler would blow right into where the Memory and part of the Graphics card heatsink are behind the G73's bottom vent. So it would probably lower the temps on the GPU a bit and CPU a little. (obv. the memory too, but there isnt a temp sensor for that)

Are you having overheating issues? because with the G73SW's cooling system, you shouldnt need a cooler at all.

... you shouldn't need a cooler for your g73, and it won't be any more effective than just propping up the laptop - UNLESS your g73 doesn't have the TM applied properly.

Looks like a nice cooler, however it looks like it needs a power source.

This is great if you want it to run on usb power.

I find the Massive23 doesn't generate enough air pressure to effect the G73's cooling much at all. The SF-19 is AC powered, but will generate enough pressure to drop GPU temps.

^ I agree with chastity, I owned the Massive23 previously and now the Sf-19.
the Massive23 generates very low air pressure but still does cool it a bit if room temp is low..

The SF-19 generated a LOT of air pressure thanks to the full 12v of power but also pretty noisy at full throttle ( not a prob if you use headphones all the time like me). If you do get the SF-19, i highly recommend you open it up and get rid of the metal mesh, the holes are too small and it restricts airflow A LOT..

You don't think that would alter the static pressure? Just a thought, because i'm sure they developed / engineered it with that in mind.

Just a FYI: The next revision of the SF-19 will have larger holes. :)
