There are 3 main issues i concern.
1: No HDD caddy for SDD installation? Is the caddy essentially needed?
2: The ports for the laptop and the SSD matches?(noob question i know, both SATA?)
3: Does SDD's performence worth the cost?(The reason i want to buy is the perfect silence )
    BTW, i'm gonna buy intel x25-m 80G V2 @ around 220 USD,good price?

1: What model of G73JH do you have? If one with two HDDs, then it has a caddy so long as the SSD is a 2.5in model.

2: It should, on a 2.5in model SSD - the x25-m should fit.

3: Yes, assuming you get a good size one. The 80gb for about 220 USD is a p. good price I imagine. I am looking at the 160 for 500.

The Intel is your best choice overall as you would like to stay within a certain price frame and there are caddys available if needed but I dont believe it is as the hd within is also a 2.5" hd. Its a simple swap. Its actually a great setup as you have 2 hard drives and will now still have one for storage space.

Is the performance worth the cosdt? YUP!! If you spend any real time on the system at all you will notice the visible difference.

You can buy the caddy @ www.asusparts.eu if you're patient- it'll take about 4 weeks.
