    Hello,

Im trying to add data on my HDD (recently installed in the optical bay). However, i got slu-ttering and lag issues with the HDD. I previously had a blu-ray drive which was not working properly. In fact, im experiencing the same issues with both. I always though the issue was the blu-ray drive until then. Look like the issue might be the sata port or the motherboard. Any idea how i can fix this?

Since it sounds like a hardware issue from your description, nothing short of an RMA to replace the defective mobo to fix it.

put the 720qm back in if you still have it, otherwise I think the only thing that voids the warranty is removing the sticker on the GPU's heatsink. At least that is the only area I saw "warranty void if removed".

Eitherway, Asus seems a bit forgiving for stuff like that. I had mine RMA'd with repasted GPU/CPU, different HDD and different Wireless card. But then again, my issues weren't relatedd to any of those.
