Can anyone recommend a screen cleaner for the G73SW-A1 , or G74SX type of screens ?
I see , for example , that Klear Screen has different products for Mac and for Dell . Are they good for these ASUS ?

I use a microfilber cloth only on Matte and Glossy screens; never any chemicals. The G73 I bought came with one. But I am fanatic about never touching the screen and keeping it in a case when not in use.

I think is fine, you are welcome and also when I wash it out every few months and I just use plain water (afraid of soap residue on the cloth).

I use Invisible Glass cleaner

Yeah, eyeglass cleaner here.

Thanks Chastity and DCx .
Here is a quote from one of the screen cleaner FAQ's
Q. Why shouldn’t I use a Glass Cleaner to clean the LCD display of my laptop or desktop?
A. Glass cleaner is made with alcohol and ammonia, which will damage any LCD screen. LCD display screens are made of plastic. Plastics and Computer manufacturers consistently do not recommend alcohol or ammonia-based cleaners. Repeated applications of alcohol on plastic may turn your screen surface yellow, make it brittle, and can cause stress cracking on your screen surface. Do not make a very expensive mistake cleaning your laptop LCD screen with a $2 glass cleaner and a paper towel!
No problems with that ?
The ASUS supplied cloth is insufficient ? -
Another that I have is Endust for Electronics

I'm using glass cleaner with anti lint/dust. So smooth and soft.
I don't use spray cleaners. -

Monster makes an LCD cleaning kit for about $20 that I use. I haven't been through an entire bottle in the couple of years I've had it, and it works great. The kit also comes with a good-quality microfiber cloth. I've used it on numerous notebooks and my HDTV with no ill effects whatsoever.

Baby wipes.
They use very mild soap that shoudn't damage anything or leave noticeable residue. Got that tip from a xerox copier technician. -
Modern eye glasses are made of composite materials and are hardly ever made of glass. In plain speak - eyeglasses are generally made of plastic. And are also generally much more expensive than an LCD screen, especially if you compare price per area. If it is safe for your $200 eyeglasses, it is safe for your $200 screen. Eyeglass cleaner is usually just an appropriately diluted mix of alcohol, which is perfectly safe for your LCD screen.
If you're going to come in and ask for advice claiming to be ignorant, do not try to be informed when someone gives you an answer you disagree with. You self-identified as being ignorant when you asked the question. -
I use cleaner marketed towards cleaning LCD monitors, tends to work well for me.
