Wow these are popping up quite a bit now. Basically when my notebook was barely a month old i got this really ugly bleached dot on the side of my screen. It only shows up on a white background and it looks like a bleached spot. A few weeks later I noticed another one, not as intense. And then today, two more in the center of the screen. The least intense ones, hard to notice but they are there. Will ASUS RMA for a new screen? This is getting ridiculous.

As long as you're not doing anything to cause it, a screen should last several years, definitely RMA it as a screen is integral. Be sure to explain that this started not long after purchase, as well.

Yeah i will, this notebook has been giving me great performance and just as annoying problems. My headphone jack got stuck earlier so i guess I'll just do both in the same RMA.

This is actually quite common, I think it's the backlight diffuser degrading or something (I'm definitely not an expert where this is concerned... :p). I've seen that issue on a ton of machines. It looks like blotchy areas on a totally white or black screen. It shouldn't be terribly noticeable as long as you're at a good viewing angle and not on a 100% bright or dark screen. I'm not sure it would qualify for a screen replacement, but good luck. It's worth a try, especially since your headphone jack needs to be fixed too.
