So in this week i've been having problems with my ASUS g73SW, i would be playing games on high performance mode and the screen would lock up and i would have to force a restart.

At first , i was suspecting the laptop was overheating , i borrowed my friends laptop fan and it the problem was still there.

I've always been using Throttlestop as well.

    Any solutions ?

Have you used HWMonitor or something of that nature to get your temps? That would quickly answer that part of the question. Problems like that can oftentimes be associated with heat, but there are many things that can cause that.

Then it's a software issue with the drivers and/or OS. I usually uninstall all the runtimes (.NET and C++), Silverlight, update Flash, Uninstall Trend Micro, AsusUpdate, and WebStorage.

Then install the runtimes manually, or use WU if lazy. ;)
