The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Separate Headphone jack in devices

    On my desktop, there was an option right in the Audio manager to make the front audio jack a different device. I play ventrilo through my headphones and the rest through my speakers.

    I can't see any option, and googling this is impossible with everything else it seems.

    I'm not sure what model you have, but that's definitely not an option on any G series that I know of; it must be a nicer soundcard you had in your desktop.
