Thread came up empty due to the server issues we're experiencing, you can ask your question again in this one.

Given that i don't have the original post, first thing i'd check is cleaning the heatsinks if you haven't done so already. A repaste might be warranted in the worse case.

I did a repaste last night (AS5) and didnt really seem to help at all and almost seemed as if got a little worse. When I did the repasted I checked the heat sinks and they looked good. It was my first repasting so maybe I made a hash of it? I followed the instructions and guides I found to the letter. Im really baffled.

That all said, I just discovered while I was gaming that moving the laptop about an inch to the right on my cooler helps significantly...

Any other suggestions? Maybe I shouldve done a better job on the heat sink inspection/cleaning? Also you can check the topic I made in the aftermarket/accessories forum about my repaste.

Thank you for any advice you can offer.

Hello, please make sure to place your laptop on a smooth surface, also, it might

be a fan failure or they are working below the required speed of operating.

    things to do:

1- Make sure to install the latest bios. this might help fixing the error if it is a

    software related error.

2- Run a fan test or check whether they work or not.

3- if you have overclocked your Gpu/Cpu, it might cause such problems.

4- It could be the ac adapter or your notebook jack, if your adapter is damaged, it could supply a low current or high voltage which results in a
    high temperature rise.

Regards and I hope I could help you.
