I have run into short (1-3 seconds) freezes in many of the games I've been playing. This happens in Mass Effect (1&2), CoD (MW2&BO), StarCraft 2, WoW, etc. In WoW it seems to happen often when I go to loot things, or mouse over something that pulls up a tool tip, but it will sometimes happen when nothing is going on. In Mass Effect 2 it happens often just before new audio plays (not always). In the other games it seems to be random.

I've tried many of the fixes I found here, including:
    GSOD fix
    Updating ATI drivers (11.1 now)
Updating BIOS (211 now, I was still on 206)
    Improve SSD read/write
    Disabling Core parking

This is particularly frustrating when it happens while healing, or during PvP/MW. :p

If I missed another fix in the forum somewhere, I apologize in advance, but any suggestions would be welcome.

Well if many games freezes it means that you should get better graphic card :) Try to put lower settings and see if it will continuous. If it will - try to use this Defraggler - Standard to defrag exact game folder and look if it helps. If not then: update game, windows clean install, new computer :)

Who are you talking about? Pay attention on smiles: 1 was nearby "buy new computer" and another about "graphic card". I have VAIO f12 and still G73 must kick the of mine 330m so I understand that it is not a problem of "horse power". It must be either HDD or Windows problem. Also game update can help
