what do you think? is that ok? good model??
Asus - Laptop with Intel® Core i7 Processor - Black - G73JH-RBBX09
so??
-
-
Just my opinion, but I would go with this instead:
ASUS G73JH-X3 Laptop Computer - Intel Core i7-720QM 1.6GHz, 8GB DDR3, 640GB HDD, DVDRW, 17.3 Display, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, Black at TigerDirect.com
It's $129 more than the 09 you linked, but it comes with the full HD screen as well as the full 2 year warranty / 1 year accidental. -
Where I can buy it at USA? I can go to stores only... so where?
-
MicroCenter sells the X5 version, if there is one by you.
-
How about the PSOD?
-
PSOD is a rare issue, or are you referring to GSOD?
-
I'm referring to this. Is this PSOD or GSOD? -
That's a PSOD.
It's a rare issue, and possibly suggested to be caused by misset screens, or perhaps by the 1.15v setting used by Asus. (dunno myself as I don't have it) If a unit has this issue, you'll know quickly.
-
umm so guys is that ok to buy x09? or are there some stores in U.S??
-
-
bb suks......
-
G73JH-X5 is better than G73JH-A1??
-
The G73JH-RBB05 is much cheaper at $1199.000 at Best Buy.
but it has a lower res screen smaller hard drive and the factory warranty isn't as good.
It's a tough choice of price versus performance.
As for Micro Center, you can visit their website and search for a store location in your area -
ok. but X5 is better?? or A1?
-
the difference between an X5 and A1 is a 640G HDD vs 2x 500G HDDs. Both have 1080p screens and blu-ray optical. If you plan to add a SSD, the X5 may be a better option. (Plus it's cheaper) Note the X5 will have a different warranty.
-
I bought the X05...

what do you mean different warranty?? Global? U.S? Damage??
-
X5 has whatever warranty Microcenter has with Asus.
-
I think he means factory (BB) warranty compared to asus warranty. Also the duration of it. There's also the additional accidental warranty which I'm not sure it will come with BB.
-
and lets say, I want to buy from Bestbuy... Does it come with warrenty globally by Asus?
-
-
so... if I buy from "Micro Center", I will get the warranty globally by Asus right?
-
-
oh... ok thank you...
-
go to Gentech or Powernotebooks they are online resellers. You will pay a few hundred more now, but it will be well worth it presently, and in the future as the specs are far superior and the longevity of the laptop will save you money in the long run. Plus your getting a better product with the 1 year Accidental Damage(if your in North America), and the 2 year Global Warranty. Warranties like that are hard to come by on electronics, I put an estimate worth of $300 at least, and BestBuy strips the G73 from it's warranty.
-
I have a problem, I want to buy Asus G73 A1/X5/09 from stores in U.S... plus with warranty globally... can you give me names of stores??
-
Powernotebooks is located in US and I believe GenTech is as well. They include the Asus 360 Warranty in the product, and that has global warranty!
-
cool... ok thank you! I think I will buy next month!
Should I buy G73JH-RBBX09 From BestBuy??
